INGREDIENTS:
rice - 1 cup washed and soaked
yellow lentil - 1 cup washed and soaked
whole garam masala as required
salt - 1 teaspoon
oil - 3 tablespoon
water - 3 or 4 cups
red chilli - half teaspoon
onion - 1 medium chopped
garlic paste - half tablespoon
INSTRUCTION:

INSTRUCTION:
- Heat a oil in a vessel add onion fry till golden brown.
- Add ginger paste fry for 5 minutes.
- Add whole garam masala,salt and red chilli.
- Now add yellow lentil and cook for 5 minutes.
- After that add basmati rice,cook on medium flame.
- Put 3 or 4 cups water.
- Bring to boil.
- After 1 boil cover the pot and cook till rice and lentil are tender.
- Serve with simple yogurt.
